Text messaging terms

Program: RSTRNT PASS member and concierge messaging. Applies to SMS, MMS, and iMessage.

01

What this covers

RSTRNT PASS INC., a Delaware corporation ("RSTRNT PASS", "we", "us"), sends text messages to members and waitlist subscribers who ask for them. These Text Messaging Terms ("Terms") govern every message we send by SMS, MMS, iMessage, or a similar text channel ("Messages"). By opting in, you agree to these Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. If anything here conflicts with the Terms of Service, these Terms control for text messaging only.

02

What we send

Messages fall into two groups.

Service messages, sent because you are using RSTRNT PASS

  • Reservation confirmations, reminders, and changes
  • Redemption details and arrival instructions for a reservation
  • Replies from our concierge team about a reservation or your membership
  • Account and security notices, including one-time verification codes you request

Membership updates, sent only if you have separately opted in to them

  • New partner restaurants in your city
  • Member events and dinners
  • Changes to your membership tier or benefits

We do not send offers, coupons, or promotions by text. That is not what RSTRNT PASS is.

03

How you opt in

You opt in by doing any of the following:

  • Entering your mobile number and checking the text messaging consent box when you join on rstrntpass.com or in the RSTRNT PASS app
  • Replying YES to a confirmation message we send after you sign up

Service messages and membership updates are consented to separately. Consent to receive membership updates is not a condition of buying a membership or using any RSTRNT PASS service. You can hold a full membership and never receive a membership update by text.

When you opt in, you confirm that you are the owner of the mobile number you gave us, or that you have the account holder's permission to use it, and that you are at least 18 years old.

04

How often we text

Message frequency varies. Service messages depend on how often you book and redeem; expect two to four messages around each reservation. Membership updates are sent no more than four times per month. Concierge replies are sent in response to a message you started.

05

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Any charge for sending or receiving texts is set by your mobile carrier or plan, not by us. Contact your carrier with questions about your plan.

06

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then nothing further to that number. STOP works on SMS and on iMessage.

Stopping texts stops all Messages to that number, including service messages. After you stop, we will send reservation confirmations and account notices to the email address on your account instead. To restart texting, reply START to our last message or turn texting back on in your account settings.

Replying STOP does not cancel your membership. To cancel your membership, follow the steps in the Terms of Service or your account settings.

07

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message or email hello@rstrntpass.com. For a reservation question, replying directly to the message about that reservation is usually fastest.

08

Carriers and delivery

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered Messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your device, and your signal, and we cannot guarantee that any Message will arrive at a particular time. Do not rely on a text alone for a time-sensitive reservation; your confirmation is always available in the app and by email.

Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most other major US carriers. Messages sent over iMessage are delivered by Apple rather than by your carrier.

09

Keep your number current

If you change or give up your mobile number, update it in your account settings or tell us at hello@rstrntpass.com so we do not text someone else. You are responsible for Messages sent to a number you have not updated.

10

Your privacy

We use your mobile number to send the Messages described above, to verify your identity, and to reach you about your reservations and your membership. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, and applies to text messaging in full.

We do not share your mobile number or your text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that deliver Messages on our behalf, including our messaging platform provider, may process your number solely to send and manage those Messages for us.

Messages between you and our concierge team may be stored so we can follow up on your reservation and improve how we serve members. Do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive information by text.

11

Who can use the program

You must be 18 or older to opt in to RSTRNT PASS text messaging. We do not knowingly send Messages to anyone under 18. If you believe we have, tell us at hello@rstrntpass.com and we will remove the number.

12

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the updated Terms at rstrntpass.com/sms-terms with a new effective date and, where required, tell you by text or email. Continuing to receive Messages after a change means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not, reply STOP.
